Kells

The Senate voted 65-31 on Saturday to end the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy regarding gays serving in the U.S. military.

(Personal remark: "YAY!")

Records of the debates in the House and Senate can be accessed using the Thomas search engine at the web site for each chamber. The House lists them under "Find a Bill, Amendment, or Debate" - The House debates are numbered H.R.2965, H.R.6520, Sec. 536, and H.R.5136, while the report itself is numbered 111-190. The Senate lists them under "Legislation & Records" - "Recent Floor Activity," by date and debate number (the Senate debates are numbered S.3065, S.4022, and S.4023).

They can also be found under the titles "Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010," "Military Readiness Enhancement Act of 2010" (Senate), and "National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011" (House).
